All horse owners need to have a P.I.C (Property Identification Code) for the property that the horse is being kept on. It is a code that has a series of letters and then numbers eg QHG1234.
To register your property and obtain a P.I.C. use THIS LINK.
We need to have a copy of your P.I.C. and you will need to put it on all “Horse Health Declarations”. Every event that you attend you will need to provide a completed Horse Health Declaration when nominating or registering attendance on the day.
Our advice to you is to partially complete a HHD with your name, address and contact details, including P.I.C. Photocopy 20 and put them into the glove box of your car. On the way to the event add the information about the horses your are taking on the day, sign and date it.
There is no obligation at this stage for the general membership of Pony Club to Hendra vaccinate horses.
